Change
Custom settings to the ones you are considering
After loading the Stock data using
the 'Load Gearing' button, almost the same data is loaded in to the Current and
Custom setup fields. In a previous step you should have already changed the
Current setup to reflect your Current setup.
Now you can start
experimenting and enter the data of the setup you are considering in Custom
setup !
Lets say I want to keep my 180/55/17 tire instead of the stock one and would indeed like to see the consequences of the already pre-loaded changed rear sprocket of +3 teeth.
That would look like this:
-
Change the tire dimensions (to 180/55/17) in the Custom fields.
-
If you think that your bike revs higher than the Max Power RPM loaded from the database, you can
change this RPM by entering a new value directly or use the Up- and
Down-buttons beside the field.
All basics have now been configured
and you can now check out the results in the various tables and graphs. Of course you
can change any field you like and see the consequences being calculated
immediately !
Mind you, there is only one input area for all the gear box ratio. These ratio are used in all 3 setups.
