Loading Personal setups
Only for bikes that are already present in the preset database
and you
previously saved Personal data, you can load personal data instead of loading stock
data. For this to work your Internet browser needs to have cookies enabled and and not delete them at the end of your session or on closure of the browser.
This way you can load your bike with all your
changes already entered in the fields without having to change them manually
every time you use the Gearing Commander.
Loading Personal setups:
Select your bike from the pull down menusNow instead of clicking the 'Load Gearing' button, click the 'Load Personal' button
The Gearing Commander now searches for a cookie on your computer
containing Personal data for the selected bike. When found, the Personal data is
loaded and a message confirming it appears:

Click the OK-button to close the message and use the
Gearing Commander as usual. If you update some fields you can save your
new setup by clicking the 'Save Personal' button. The existing cookie will
be updated with the new values.
If NO Personal data was saved previously or the
involved
cookie was deleted, the following message appears:
Instead stock data has been loaded. Now check your browsers
cookie settings and make sure they aren't blocked and not deleted
after closing the browser either by a browser setting or an add-on. Remark: Personal data that was
previously saved for GC version 6 cannot be Loaded in GC version 7 and the other way
around. This means that for each version you once have to save your Personal
data.
